Rainy days don't always have to be dreary or boring. As parents, we are often busy working or doing chores that we often forget to take time out of our daily schedule to have fun and be silly with our children, whether they are young or old. So today when it rained, my daughter and I went outside to play in the rain. Well, at least Lillian did...lol!! When you're the parent of a two-year-old who loves rain and water puddles, rainy days are meant to be fun!!!!!!!!!
It's June, which means graduation ceremonies are happening all around us. Alexis Diane Wheeler is no stranger to this because she is one of the many high school seniors graduating this month. Well, she's now a graduate and alumni of John Piersol McCaskey High School. Her graduation was on Thursday, June 2nd, 2016. J.P. McCaskey happens to be her mother's, her two uncles, and a few of her cousins alma mater. There's a greater sense of pride when family members graduate from the same school, McCaskey is no different.
What you don't know is, Alexis is one of three in her senior class to have walked across the stage a whole year early. That's an amazing accomplishment by anyone's standards! Now, Alexis is no different than any of her fellow classmates. She has had to make sure she had enough credits to graduate, take tests, and maintain a certain GPA. Alexis Diane graduated with honors and a GPA of 3.669. Again, an amazing achievement coming from a 17-year-old who took the chance of graduating a full year early!
Alexis will be attending Harrisburg Area Community College, or HACC, in the fall and will later transfer to NYU. Congratulations Alexis on your graduation!! Being an alumni from McCaskey myself, I'd like to welcome you to a huge alumni family- we are McCaskey Proud! And lastly, we here at Lily Bug Photography wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!!!!
